Setup in Four Steps

If you haven't signed up for Avochato yet, visit www.avochato.com to start a free trial and claim your account name and phone number.

Once the package is installed in your org, open the Avochato Setup Tab. From there, assign the appropriate permissions to your users and adjust settings to enable Avochato functionality across your Salesforce org.

To sync message activity to Salesforce automatically — including automatic record creation for Leads or other Salesforce objects — go to your Avochato Integrations page and click Connect Production (or Connect Sandbox if you're testing in a sandbox environment). Accept the OAuth request to complete the connection. Afterward, click Settings to explore the available configuration options and tailor the sync to your org.

Important: The Salesforce user logged in when the connection is established becomes the integration user for the Avochato-to-Salesforce sync. Any contacts or leads created in Salesforce, and any synced activity that doesn't match an existing Salesforce user, will default to this user as the record owner.

Purchasing Avochato for Salesforce

When you're ready to purchase after the trial, return to the AppExchange listing, where the Get It Now button will display Buy Now. You can also use this direct link to purchase seats for Avochato for Salesforce. Follow the prompts to select the number of seats and complete your purchase. For post-trial setup guidance, refer to the onboarding guide.

Understanding Licenses and Seats

The terms license and seat are used interchangeably. Here's how licensing works:

  • One license grants a single Salesforce user access to Avochato for Salesforce, including the component, tab, and list view broadcasting. This is typically assigned to the Admin or integration user responsible for the activity sync between Avochato and Salesforce.
  • Additional licenses extend the same access to each additional Salesforce user. Any user who needs to access Avochato directly within Salesforce requires a license.
Note: Unlimited activity syncing and automation via Flow or Process Builder can be achieved with a single license. If your goal is simply to keep Salesforce leads and contacts updated with messaging activity from Avochato, one license is sufficient.
